Facing the Dreaded Silos

While not a problem specific to only higher ed, higher ed is known for its silos. What can we do in the digital space to help break down those silos?While not completely silo-free, we have worked to help break those barriers. In establishing everyday processes as well as through working on major projects, such as overhauling the website to meet accessibility and branding standards to website redesigns, using the Drupal environment, there are opportunities to create a more cohesive and collaborative environment, while still accomplishing the task at hand.We will share our experiences and tips for helping create a collaborative culture and getting others to see you as the expert in your field.
