ApplyCycle: OpenSource Grants Management in Drupal

ApplyCycle makes it simple to accept, review, and score applications, as well as communicate with and pay grantees. ApplyCycle is a Drupal Distribution and has recently been released on Drupal.org as a fully Open Source application. Because ApplyCycle is built in Drupal, Foundations can also leverage many of the Drupal modules that make that ecosystem so Robust, and can use ApplyCycle as their main website and also as a means to communicate with their current and past grantees.

In this session we will review how three foundations use ApplyCycle--The Aaron Copland Fund for Music, The Amphion Foundation, and the Diston Fund--and will review the features that makes ApplyCycle an integral part of the Foundation's operations. We will discuss the long history that led to the creation of the distribution as well as some of the new features that have recently been developed by Zivtech, ApplyCycle's creator and maintainer.
